I have been working as a Family & Systemic psychotherapist since 2003 and specialise in work with children, adolescents and their families. I have practiced both in community and inpatient settings and believe that every child and family have the internal resources to create the positive change they desire. Family therapy is a way of identifying and harnessing these resources, through exploration, communication and the gaining of understanding and insight.
I currently work for the NHS as Clinical Lead for two Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services and as a leader and highly experienced clinician have a thorough understanding of mental health difficulties and treatment protocols. I have an interest in the Arts and have researched the use of both art and music in work with families, which can be especially useful when working with children. I have been seeing individuals, couples and families in my private practice for 16 years and look forward to welcoming you to my practice in Guildford.
