A recent report – by a taskforce set up by NHS England – states that ‘Half of all mental health problems have been established by the age of 14, rising to 75 per cent by age 24.’

Importantly, the report also emphatically states that ‘it is essential that more is done to ensure their needs are identified early and they are supported to access specialist care swiftly’.
