Introducing Mandy Dunn
Specialist Coach Practitioner and Expert on Parenting Challenges.
Mandy’s previous clinical background and Director role within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) means she is in a unique position to think with you about what approach might be the most useful for you when addressing challenges related to children, families, parenting and emotional wellbeing.
Mandy is committed to building trusting, listening and non-judgemental coaching relationships, in which people can have the space to reflect and have the opportunity and time to explore their issues and concerns. You would typically use tools and techniques together to support such exploration and set clear steps and goals to achieve the change that is envisaged.
She has a particular interest in coaching parents and offer specialist coaching services which can include:
- Initial consultation for parent(s)/ carer(s) of children & adolescents with developmental or mental health issues to establish what next steps might suit your situation best. This may include signposting to appropriate medical/ therapeutic professionals, if appropriate
- General Behaviour/Developmental Issues
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder including Asperger’s
- Attention Deficit Conditions
- Relationship Issues including family conflict and breakdown
If, after the initial “consultation” session we agree coaching is going to be useful for you, and you feel that the relationship “chemistry” is conducive to making positive changes, Mandy offers a package of six one-hour sessions, spread out over an agreed period.
Review of the goals of coaching takes place at each session to check that the focus of your time together is the right one for you, and the evolving goals are the right ones too.
