A multi-disciplinary clinic

Are you worried about an aspect of your health? Do you want advice from an expert of your choice at a time that suits you?

The Healthcare on Demand Clinic in Guildford brings together a team of fully qualified and professional health practitioners under one roof. All have a broad range of experience within the NHS and/or private practice and many are active researchers too.

We treat a wide range of conditions affecting mental and physical health across all ages with specific practitioners specialising with working with children and young people.

We believe in a patient-centred treatment plan and will take the time to discuss with you what help you need and any concerns you may have to ensure that you receive the most appropriate treatment with the right therapist.

A range of treatments

Our team is split into three core areas: psychiatry, physical therapies and psychological therapies.

Our experienced medical practitioners and therapists are fully insured and registered with the appropriate governing bodies for their discipline.

Psychiatry: Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Physical Therapies: Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy
Psychological Therapies: Counselling and Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Art Therapy and Counselling including CBT and many other established approaches

These also include Therapies for Children (paediatric therapies)

Each medical practitioner and therapist works confidentially, one on one, or with couples and families as required but can, if the need arises, work in partnership with another practitioner.

Not sure who you need to talk to? You can request a free initial telephone signposting advice with a clinic co-ordinator, to help you make the right choice.

The Nathan Family’s Story

Healthcare on Demand was set up by Jane Nathan after the difficulties she faced finding suitable treatment for her daughter’s depression and related mental health issues. Her doctor advised that they would wait a long time within the NHS but finding the right help and support within the private sector was complicated too.

Building on our Success

Since our launch in 2014 we have helped hundreds of individuals and groups – not just through our consultation system but with the seminars and workshops we run. Developed to put information and resources into the hands of parents and health, educational and social-care professionals, our not-for-profit events are accessible and informative and generate much-needed funds for charities.

“We discovered that it isn’t always easy to access the right help when we need it and that there was a necessity for high quality centralised healthcare provision. Healthcare on Demand is what we would have liked to have had available to us when we needed it and we hope that we can help others find the help and care they are looking for through our clinic.”
